Using Scan History
Accessing Your Scan History
Every scan you run while signed in to your AdGateScore account is saved automatically. Your scan history gives you a complete record of your website's ad network readiness over time, making it easy to track progress and identify trends.
Where to Find Scan History
Click on "History" in the navigation bar to open your scan history page. You will see a chronological list of all your past scans, with the most recent scan at the top. Each entry shows the date, the URL that was scanned, the overall score, the letter grade, and how many networks you were ready for at that point.
Free accounts can view their last 5 scans. Pro users get unlimited history, and Premium users get unlimited history plus the ability to compare any two scans side by side.
Reviewing a Past Scan
Click on any scan in your history to open its full results page. The results page looks exactly the same as when you first viewed it, with all module scores, network readiness statuses, and fix recommendations preserved. This is useful for looking back at what your site looked like before a major redesign or content push.
Past scan results are read-only snapshots. They reflect your site's state at the time of the scan and will not change even if your site has changed since then. This makes them reliable reference points for measuring progress.
Score Delta Tracking
When you view a scan that has a previous scan to compare against, you will see score deltas displayed next to your overall score and each module score. A green up arrow with a positive number means your score improved since the last scan. A red down arrow means it decreased. This makes it immediately obvious whether your recent changes helped or hurt.
Filtering and Searching
If you have many scans in your history, you can filter by URL to see scans for a specific website. This is especially useful if you manage multiple sites and scan them all from the same account. You can also sort your history by date or score to find specific scans quickly.
Practical Uses for Scan History
- Measuring the impact of changes: Scan before and after making improvements to quantify their effect on your score.
- Client reporting: If you manage websites for clients, scan history provides documented proof of the improvements you have made over time.
- Regression detection: If your score drops unexpectedly, you can compare recent scans to identify which module was affected and investigate accordingly.
- Planning improvements: Review historical trends to decide which modules to focus on next for the biggest gains.
Data Retention
Scan history is retained indefinitely for all account types. We do not delete your historical data unless you explicitly request it through your account settings. If you delete your account, all scan history is permanently removed and cannot be recovered.
