Managing Your Subscription
Subscription Management
AdGateScore uses Stripe for all billing operations, providing a secure and transparent subscription management experience. You can change your plan, update payment methods, and view invoices at any time.
Upgrading Your Plan
To upgrade from Free to Pro or Premium (or from Pro to Premium), you have several options:
- From the Pricing page: Visit the Pricing page and click the upgrade button on the plan you want. You will be directed to a Stripe checkout page to enter your payment details.
- From your Account page: Navigate to your Account page and click "Manage Subscription" to access the billing portal, where you can change your plan.
- From upgrade prompts: When you encounter a feature that requires a higher plan (like detailed fix instructions or scan comparison), you will see an upgrade prompt with a direct link to checkout.
When you upgrade, you are charged the prorated difference for the remainder of your current billing cycle. Your new features are available immediately after payment is processed. There is no waiting period or manual activation step.
Downgrading Your Plan
To downgrade from Premium to Pro, or from any paid plan to Free, go to your Account page and click "Manage Subscription." In the Stripe billing portal, you can change to a lower plan or cancel entirely.
When you downgrade, you keep your current plan features until the end of your billing period. After that, your account switches to the lower plan. Your scan history and data are preserved regardless of plan changes. You will not lose any historical data by downgrading.
Note that some features may become unavailable after downgrading. For example, if you have 50 scans in your history and downgrade to Free (which shows the last 5), your older scans are still stored but will not be visible until you upgrade again.
Canceling Your Subscription
You can cancel your paid subscription at any time from the billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will continue to have access to paid features until that date. After cancellation, your account reverts to the Free plan.
No data is deleted when you cancel. Your scans, history, and account settings are all preserved. You can resubscribe at any time to regain access to paid features.
Billing Portal
The Stripe billing portal gives you full control over your subscription. From the portal, you can:
- View and download past invoices and receipts
- Update your payment method (credit card, debit card)
- Change your billing email address
- Switch between monthly and annual billing
- View upcoming charges
Access the billing portal from your Account page by clicking "Manage Subscription." You will be redirected to a secure Stripe-hosted page where you can make changes.
Payment Methods
AdGateScore accepts all major credit and debit cards through Stripe, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. Card details are stored securely by Stripe. AdGateScore never sees or stores your full card number.
Billing Cycle
Subscriptions are billed monthly by default. Annual billing is also available at a discounted rate (typically two months free). You can switch between monthly and annual billing from the billing portal at any time.
